Goals are the creation of efficient data protection friendly solutions that barely influence the quality of service and need no or hardly any action on the side of the user. Thus the processes for anonymization have to be integrated into the internet infrastructure as far as possible and shall work for the end user without the need for active participation. Such a "basic protection" would be already a major improvement in contrast to the current structure. Another goal is to increase transparency and make the actually reached protection verifiable for the individual user.
The Project is run by the Unabhängiges Landeszentrum für Datenschutz.
